| Don't Mention It - D.M.I. & The Winning Catch Don't Mention It (D.M.I.)
D.M.I. is a Radio show that was started in 2003 by Tony Dodson and Brock Adkinson. It is a show that tells it the way the Host see it. Many think that DMI was a copy cat show of ESPN's PTI. It was never designed that way. The idea behind the show was to say it the way it was seen regardless of relationships, feelings, or what others think. Knowing this would upset people at times and cause uproars, when listeners would listen they would hear the Host going a certain direction and be thinking to themselves; "Oh no....oh gosh...they're going there...please...don't mention it." The show took off and was very popular and it did just what it set out to do, piss people off. In the second DMI in 2003, Co-Host Brock mentioned that a certain owner would have to ask his "Wifey" for permission about something, and later that owner called Tony and said that Brock better never ever speak about his wife again or he would find out what he did in the military. So just like the title says, Brock was told ; "Don't Mention It." Shows from 2003 thru 2007 were put on cassette tapes and then CD's and were handed out to the League. Then in 2008, the Radio Show revamped and was put on the Internet for all to hear anytime they want and to become our place to archive the shows. The shows started progression back at DMI 1 and had a new flavor. A bit more serious and a true show that speaks only of the PFF's Owners, Games, Activities, and League Business. The show is Hosted by Tony Dodson and has had various Co-Host. This show always has a Co-Host or Guest or both. In the Future, Host/Producer Tony would like to find a good mix of great talk of the PFF and some of the original content of stirring the pot and making people uncomfortable. The shows have ranged form an hour to 45 minutes to now a quick, easy to listen to 30 minutes. Many more show to come in the future.
The Winning Catch
The Winning Catch is the second of the PFF's radio shows. It debuted on March 14, 2009 with Host Tony Dodson. This show differs from DMI that it is just one mans opinion, the Host. No Co-Host, no Guest. The ideal show is a 30 minute - 2 topic, 15 minutes a piece, show where Tony talks about subjects that are PFF related. There has only been a handful of these shows but Tony wants to do many more. His vision is to have featured Hosts where Tony will produce, but a Guest Host will come and talk about a couple of subjects that they feel passion for. This was never really consiered an actual show, but later was decided it was part of the History of DMI. DMI 1. We are getting close to figuring this thing out. Exactly what the show is looking for and the guys provided it. DMI 5 - Should be DMI 6. Named wrong by mistake. Things seemed to come together and was a great show and great sound. Matt has another classic moment when he is live at QT. Looking at these early show, Rick was a huge part of the building the DMI Franchise. Fun to listen to.
